Understanding TBR

We understand you have questions.

Question 1: How shall I prepare for my TBR session?

Thank you for booking your TBR session with one of our trusted practitioners. Before your session, we highly recommend a sobriety commitment, avoiding alcohol, processed foods, recreational drugs, and tobacco. Whole foods and sobriety assist with the effectiveness of this work while preparing your body for healing. Journaling and somatic awareness are also recommended, with specific notes on how you feel in your body as well as psyche for at least two weeks prior to your session at various times throughout your day.

Question 2: What should I expect after this work?

As with any body work, you might experience soreness or more pronounced emotions. We recommend a fast of all processed foods or alcohol. Ideally you will have the opportunity to continue the healing work by committing to at least a 2-day water fast (which can include tea and/or coconut water). Some clients choose a two-day intermittent or 18-hour fast with one raw food meal daily. Commit to avoiding screens if possible for 48 hours after your TBR session. Cold plunging (in a river, pool or tub) can assist with any soreness. Morning grounding walks (barefoot) promote the integration you will experience for at least one week after your treatment. Please rise 30 minutes earlier for spiritual practice for at least 5-days after your training and be sure to include full-body exercise daily after your treatment for at least five days (jump roping, HIIT). Please find a healing partner to process thoughts and emotions that come up during your treatment: do not do this without a trusted, stable sounding board.
